Memorial Day Jello Shots (Easy Patriotic Vodka Jello Shots)

Ingredients

Blue Layer

  • 1 box blue Jell O (3 ounces)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vodka

White Layer

  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • up to 1/2 cup vodka (optional)

Red Layer

  • 1 box red Jell O (3 ounces)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vodka

For Garnish

  • Whipped cream
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  • Dissolve the blue Jell O in hot water. Stir in cold water and vodka. Cool slightly, pour into cups one-third full, and chill until set.
  • Bloom the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Stir in hot water until dissolved, then mix in sweetened condensed milk and optional vodka. Cool to room temperature, pour over the blue layer, and chill until set.
  • Dissolve the red Jell O in hot water. Stir in cold water and vodka. Cool slightly, pour over the white layer, and chill until fully set, at least 2 to 3 hours.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkles right before serving.

Notes

  • Use a tray to make moving the cups easier.
  • Let each layer cool before pouring for cleaner stripes.
  • Chill each layer fully before adding the next.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
